Getting lash extensions for the first time – what to expect
A first lash appointment can be nerve-racking. We walk through how the treatment goes and what to know in advance.
The first time is always exciting. When you know what to expect, you can relax and enjoy the treatment.
Before your visit
Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes. Avoid caffeine so your eyes stay calm. Read the full preparation tips.
During the treatment
You lie comfortably with your eyes closed while the lash artist attaches extensions one by one to your own lashes. The treatment is painless and relaxing — many even fall asleep. A new set takes about 2–2.5 hours.
Choosing a style
We design a style to suit your eye shape together. For first-timers we often recommend a natural classic or a light hybrid, which makes it easy to go more dramatic later.
After the treatment
Avoid water and steam for the first 24 hours. After that, cleanse your lashes regularly and book a refill in 2–3 weeks.
