FAQ

Can you get lash extensions during pregnancy?

Lash extensions during pregnancy or breastfeeding — what to consider? We cover the most common questions.

Many expectant mothers want to treat themselves to lash extensions. Here are the most common questions on the topic.

Are lash extensions safe during pregnancy?

Extensions are attached to your own lashes and are not absorbed into the body. Many people get extensions throughout pregnancy. We do recommend discussing it at your clinic if you have sensitivities.

What should you consider?

  • During pregnancy, skin and eyes can be more sensitive than usual.
  • Lying still for a long time may feel uncomfortable in late pregnancy — tell us and we will arrange a comfortable position.
  • Hormonal changes can affect your lash growth cycle and how long extensions last.

What about breastfeeding?

Breastfeeding does not prevent lash extensions. The treatment does not affect milk production in any way.
